Frank was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He had very much enjoyed his successful career as a general contractor, and was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Frank had been a league and championship bowler, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and family camping trips.
A native of Caneyville, Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Cora and Anderson Mudd; his brother, Clay S. Mudd and two siblings Ishmael Mudd, and Mildred Mudd who both died perinatally, and a son, Mark Mudd.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 60 years, Patricia; two children, Mary Mudd-Harshfield (Chris), and Michael Mudd; three grandchildren, Abby Mudd, Jacob Mudd and Blake Mudd; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and the friends and neighbors who knew him.
Frank will be greatly missed by everyone.
A funeral service to celebrate Frank’s life will be conducted at noon on Friday, April 4, 2014 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Guests are invited to attend a visitation which will take place from 2-8 pm Thursday, April 3, 2014 and after 9am the day of the service.
