24th, 1948, Frank was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving two tours in Vietnam. Frank worked at
Phillip Morris, U.S.A. where he was a machinist specialist. At Phillip Morris Frank met the love of
his life “Betty”. They married on February 2, 1976 and remained married until his passing. Frank
loved to hunt, fish and was an avid outdoorsman. A love he passed on to his family. Frank was a
member of VFW Post 5831 in Hardinsburg, KY.
Frank is proceeded in death by his father, Ralph Foreman Jamison and his step-mother Marie
Jamison. He is survived by his wife Betty and his sister Carol Anne (Donnie Imas).
Together Frank and Betty raised three sons, Doug (Jennifer), Brian (Lisa) and Eric. He has eight
grand children: Zachary, Patrick (Hannah), Emily (Bryan) and Erin, Justin, and Lacy, Allie,
Kiersten (Gary) and ten great grandchildren.
A celebration of Frank’s life will be held at Advantage Funeral Home- Hardy Chapel, 10907
Dixie Hwy, Louisville, Ky 40272 on Monday, April 22, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with
his funeral to be held on Tuesday, April 23rd at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, you can make a
donation honoring his life to Wounded Warriors Project, or any charity that supports veterans.
