Frances Lee Riggs

Frances Lee Riggs, 83, from Louisville KY passed on to her heavenly home on January 4, 2024. She was an amazing homemaker and the wife of Arlie Gene Riggs for 60 years and a loving mother to Debbie, David (Trish), Marsha, and Karen. She had 10 grandchildren (Andrea, Tabitha, Matthew, Zachary, (Chelsea), Kyle, Cory (Shelley), Tyler, Brad, Lauren, and Sean) and 10 great grandchildren (Justin, Kristina, Aleeyah, Vincent, Autumn, Arlie, William, Zoey, Jacob, and Zander.

She accepted Jesus as her Savior in her childhood and was a lifelong and last remaining charter member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She gave selflessly to her family and left this world praising Jesus through song. She loved to cook for her family and had a fun and witty personality. She enjoyed watching old-school shows like I Love Lucy, Andy Griffith, and Little House on the Prairie. She is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Kjeston Amelia DeZarn, husband Arlie Gene Riggs, grandchildren Andrea Michelle Riggs and Matthew Thomas Satterley, and many other beloved family members. She entered into rest at home surrounded by her loved ones and will be greatly missed. Donations may be made to Hosparus of Louisville and Bethlehem Baptist Church on Preston Highway in her memory.

Funeral service will be 1pm Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Evergreen Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 2pm-8pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
