Ethel Louise Higdon

She was born in Grayson County to the late Vernie and Agnes Nelson.

Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Newman Higdon; and siblings Elmer Nelson, JoAnn Bradley, Mary Newton, George Nelson, Lee Nelson, Robert Nelson, Bobby Nelson, Jean Hudspeth, Thomas Nelson, Ray Nelson and Beverly Duvall She is survived by her children Don Higdon (Debbie), Kim Pullen (Kurt), and Marie Poole (Jack); siblings James Nelson, Howard Nelson, Dudley Nelson, Brenda Nelson, Cuba Fulkerson, and Gladys Decker; 6 grandchildren, Jonathan, Jeremy, LaDona, DJ, Andy, and Matt; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Shelby, Alley, Mady, Jake, Luke, Liam, and Aiden; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm Monday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy, followed by burial at Louisville Memorial Garden West. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Sunday and from 11:00 am until the time of service on Monday.
