

Ernie was born on November 7, 1935 in Trenton, New Jersey to Mary Cecilia Starcyk. Mary raised Ernie as a single mom until she was married years later to Hugh Warren, his step-father. Mary and Hugh had 4 boys: Gary, Harry, Timmy and Tommy Warren. Ernie is survived by all four step-brothers: Gary Warren of Trenton, NJ; Harry Warren of Yardley, PA; Timmy Warren of Myrtle Beach, SC and Tommy Warren of Florida.
Ernie put himself through Trenton Junior college as well as the University of Louisville dental school, served in the U.S. Army in Germany as a dental intern and became a DMD in 1964. He had his own dental practice and practiced dentistry for almost 50 years.
When he was at Trenton Junior college he met and married his first wife Arlene Kovacs and they were married for 12 years, having 4 children: Steven Entin, Marty Entin, Dale Entin and Mary Beth Senechal. He is survived by Dale, of Denver, CO and Mary Beth, of Phoenix, AZ.
In February of 1971, he met the love of his life, Patricia O’Neil and they remained married until his passing on December 1. Patricia had 5 children: Jeep O’Neil, Karen Roby, Jeffrey O’Neil, Kelly Smith and Kenneth O’Neil. He is survived by Patricia, Karen, Kenneth and Kelly, all of Louisville, KY.
He is also survived by his six grandchildren: Alex Entin, Steffany Bone, Grant Senechal, Carter Senechal, Nicholas Entin and Isabelle Entin. They loved to hear grandpa’s corny jokes.
Ernie was very active and loved to play golf and tennis, and to get on the river in his Sea Ray. He was involved in the Knights of Columbus. He and Pat spent many fun years together golfing at Glenmary Country Club, playing cards and going to the movies. Ernie also enjoyed hunting, fishing and wood working.
