Elva Ann Gray, 75, of Louisville, passed away April 16, 2015 at Baptist Health Louisville. She was born on June 24, 1939 in Persia, Tennessee to the late Daniel B and Lucille Mooney Parker. She was a receptionist for Elbl, Rees and Solinger Pediatric Cardiology. She was a member of the Fern Creek United Methodist Church and was an officer in the Independent Order of Foresters.
She is survived by her husband, William E. Gray Jr., three sons, William E. Gray III (Pamela), Michael S. Gray (Jean) and Timothy D. Gray (Jennifer); five grandchildren, William Spencer Gray, Taylor Anderson Gray, Deidre Ann Gray, Cameran Patrice Gray, and Lindsey Nicole Gray; four great-grandchildren, Abbygail Cornn, Michael Cornn, Jon Schilling and Rylan Galloway; and siblings, Albert Parker (Noreeda), Mary Housewright and Priscilla Ryan (Larry).
A celebration of her life will be conducted Monday, April 20, 2015 at Noon at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with private entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 1-6 on Sunday at the funeral home.
