Elmer E. "Hap" Lush

Elmer E. (Hap) Lush, 86, entered into rest on Wednesday January 4, 2023. He was preceded in death by his Parents, James E. Lush and Mary E. Higdon; and 2 sisters and 6 brothers. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his Wife, Nell C. Simmons Lush whom he married on the fifth date; Daughters, Amber (Donald) Clem, Laura (Larry) Sharpe, Kelly (J.Wayne) Geekins; Son, Wayne (Fanja) Lush; 7 Grandchildren, Donnie, Kristin, Shane, Mariah, Cass, Rachel, Taylor and 8 great Grandchildren and one on the way; Brothers, Raymond and Daymond Lush. Hap was an Air Force veteran, retiree from ISA / Industrial Services and was faithful to his sobriety that began in 1993 with AA. He was a loving husband and father who will be missed by all who knew him. His Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 12 noon at the Advantage Funeral Home - Hardy Chapel with, burial following in St. Andrews Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 3-8 pm at the funeral home.
