Ellen M. Madson

Born on January 17, 1937 in Lynd, Minnesota. Ellen was a daughter to Chester and Eleanor Bisel. She attended Butterfield High School and graduated with a business degree from Mankato Technical College. She enjoyed being around family and friends, playing card games, baking, watching her daily episode of The Young & the Restless, and had a passion for music. She was a giver and a caretaker. Sle loved her family fiercely and will be greatly missed by all.

Ellen is survived by her husband of 66 years, Howard; her son, Steve (Sam) Madson; her daughter, Susan (Bruce) Johnston; her grandchildren, Lindsay, Eric (Kelly), and Shaun; her four great-grandchildren, Brayden, Annabelle, Joseph and Daniel; her siblings, Chuck, Frank (Carol), Chet (Gaylen), Pat (Jerry) and Jim (LaRae). She is preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Eleanor; and her son Robert.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 16 from 3:00-7:00 at Arch L Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, Kentucky 40218. Memorial service will be held at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, 5903 Bardstown Road Louisville, Kentucky 40291 at 11:00 am.
