Ella Carolyn Reichert

Carolyn was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church, served on the Parish Council and Bereavement Committee, charter member of Carmel Club, charter member and past president of the South Jefferson Republican Club, member of the Metro Parks Board 1978-1986, member of the Parks Foundation, Ladies Auxiliary Knights of Columbus, Pope John XXIII Council, Lifetime charter member National World War II Memorial and Catholic Golden Age.

Her husband, Walter "Stu" Reichert Sr. and sister, Teresa Hainline(Tom), preceded Ella in death.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Walter Stewart Reichert Jr. (Mary Lou), Carolyn Jean Reichert Clayton, Paul Frank Reichert (Debbie), David Lawrence Reichert (Cindy); 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, sister, Betty Schneider(John), and many loving extended family and longtime friends.

The Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 11am at St. Rita Catholic Church with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday from 2-8pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home-Okolona.

Expression of sympathy in Carolyn’s honor should be directed to St. Vincent de Paul.
