Elizabeth Tawny Carpenter

As a child Elizabeth always brought joy to those around her. Her smile was contagious, always bringing a sense of comfort. Elizabeth graduated Fern Creek High School in 2012, continuing her education at ATA College in becoming a Medical Assistant working for University of Louisville. Music brought happiness to Elizabeth and she shared that happiness with many, but her concert buddy was Mom. Mom travelled to many concerts creating memories she will never forget. She had hobby of going to concerts and collecting shoes, all types of shoes for any outfit she would wear. Elizabeth was most proud, not of her shoes, but of her children. Being a mom was something Elizabeth did with grace. She may be "bossy" sometimes, but she loved her kids deeply. She was known for her hugs, with the ability to squeeze you so tight, the feeling would linger, even after you let go.

Here to cherish her memory is her mother, Amy Houchens (Stanley), children; Madeline and Liam Melton and Jonathan V. Caldwell, fiancé, Jonathan K. Caldwell, sister, Kristina Carpenter, nephews, Rory and Riley Peoples, maternal grandfather, and many extended family and friends.

A visitation for Elizabeth will be held Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218. A celebration of Elizabeth's life will occur Friday, September 2, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven.

Elizabeth will be laid to rest privately in Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218.
