Best, Elizabeth Dianne, 77, passed away at home on February 12, 2024. She was born on November 9th, 1946, in Louisville, KY, to the late Earl and Ruth Brown McCulloch. Dianne co-owned Mike Best Meat Market with her husband for many years and most recently enjoyed working with the Oldham County Board of Education as a Bus Attendant.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Michael R. Best; children, Benjamin Tanner (Megan), Jacqueline Sellner (Mitch), and Devin Best; grandchildren, Lauryn Mechura, Elliot Best, Catherine Tanner, Cade Best, Lucas Tanner, Everlee Potts; half-siblings, Donna Haynes and Debbie Reitz.
She was preceded in passing by her parents; and Benjamin’s father, David Tanner.
A service to celebrate Dianne’s life will be held on Friday, February 23, at 4 PM, at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road. Family, friends, and guests are welcome to gather from 1 PM until 4 PM on Friday, February 23. The family has chosen to follow services with cremation. She will be so greatly missed.
