Elijah "Cliff" Bush

BUSH, ELIJAH "CLIFF," 83, of South Louisville passed from this life to his new home in Heaven on Saturday August 28, 2010 at Signature Health Care. He was a retired supervisor at the old Navel Ordnance Station, retired from the Army Reserve, a member of Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church, an Air Force veteran and a avid fisherman and golfer whose family always came first. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Jerryleen Bush and a son, Steven Bush. He is survived by his daughters, Karen Williams (Jim) and Sandy McBride (Keith); a brother, William "Bud" Bush; grandchildren, Scott Crady and Heather McBride; and a great grandson, Steven Crady.

A celebration of Mr. Bush's life will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
