Eldon Ray Daugherty, 95, entered into rest on Monday February 15, 2021. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Mary Daugherty; Son, Gregory (Butch) Daughtery; Daughters, Debra Smith and Sharon Thomas; Eldon Retired from the US Army after 26years of service. He was a WW II veteran where he gained a Bronze Star and Purple Heart and was a Korean War Veteran. He also retired after 20 years with the State of Kentucky. He is survived by his Daughter, Camille Wimsatt (Edmund); Grandchildren, Amanda Smith, Gregory Wimsatt (Andrea), Jennifer Wimsatt, Sarah Thomas Patton (Brian); Great Grand Children, Patrick Wimsatt and Jason Wimsatt. His Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 1:00pm at the Advantage Funeral Home – Hardy Chapel, with Burial following in Bethany Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 11am on Friday until time of service at the funeral home.
