Adkins, Edwin “Ed”, 85, passed away on February 23, 2015. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Ed was a faithful man and loved being a Grandpa. He enjoyed watching UK basketball. He was an Army veteran and retired from American Air Filter after 43 years of service.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 57 years, Janice; sons, William Dale (Sharon) and Timothy; grandchildren, Crystal and Ashley; great grandchildren, Kirsten, Eli, and Zoey; sisters, Betty Thacker and Carol Jean Alvey; and brother, Bennett (Ethel).
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday at 10:00am at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-8 pm at the funeral home. Entombment will be private at Evergreen Cemetery.
