Edward Joseph Zimmerman III, 66, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Norton Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward J. Zimmerman Jr. and Betty Zimmerman; sister, Theresa Zimmerman; and father-in-law (Dad), Joseph Jones. Eddie is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sarah Zimmerman; his two children, Wendy Kneisler (Nick) and Lindsey Hueston (Shawn); his five grandchildren, Riley, Brendon, Landon, Tyler & Mason; his mother-in-law (Mom), Sarah Jones; brothers-in-law, Larry Jones (Vicki) and Charlie Jones (Cheryl); sisters-in-law, Mary Stevenson (Chuck), Susie Leach, Karen Wade (Mike), Brenda Hillenbrand (Jim); his lifelong best friend, Mark Hottell (Freida); his Aunt Patty Warren and Uncle Luther James (Shirley); and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Evergreen Funeral Home from 2pm-7pm. Funeral will be held Monday, September 27, 2021 at 10am at Evergreen Funeral Home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
