Edna Mae Williams

Edna Mae Williams, 95, of Louisville. Edna Mae graduated from Shawnee High School, Class of 1939 and retired from the L&N Rail Road as a supervisor in the freight department after 35 years of faithful service.

Edna Mae, affectionately known as MaeMae to her family, was a kind and giving person who loved to have fun.

She was predeceased in death by her parents, Harry and Alvina Williams and her sister, Doris Stevenson.

Edna Mae is survived by her nieces, Jan Stevenson Farris (husband, Bruce) and Rebecca Stevenson Specht (husband, Peter); great-nieces, Teri Montgomery and Rachel Ammerman (husband Jake) and great-nephew Steve Farris.

She was devoted to her family and was well liked by everyone and will be missed by all.

A celebration of Edna Mae's life will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 10 AM, Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY. followed by interment at Cave Hill Cemetery, 701 Baxter Ave, Louisville, KY.

Visitation is Tuesday, December 6, 2016 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
