I met Eddie in the 80's through Ken Dupin. It's so sad to hear of his passing. Although I haven't seen him since Gizmo's was open on Rockford Lane, I'm glad I took the time to talk to him then. I was saddened to hear of cousin Eddie's passing, especially since it was while he was riding his Harley...as I'm a Harley rider too.

Even though it's been many years since I've seen Eddie, besides the loss of a cousin -- it's always hard to take such news of a fellow Hog brother going down.

Although, he met his end doing something he obviously loved -- riding his bike.

And if it's your time to go, I believe one couldn't ask for a better way for it to happen than when you're doing something you truly love for one's last memory of life on Earth to take with you into the next one in Heaven.

Hopefully, that idea might be of some comfort to the loved ones he leaves behind.

And, besides my condolences, I pray that God may bless him & Emma, and all his dear friends & relatives, to help them through this time of dealing with his loss.

After reading all the emtries in the guest book I know for certain now that Eddie was a very good person. I also know the he was loved very very much by both his parents (Emma & Hubert). Eddie was always a gentleman in my presence & it broke my heart when I heard of his passing. I loved you too Eddie. God Bless Eddie & Emma

   I passed by Eddie's residence and noticed ( Aggie sitting by the fence as if waiting for Eddie) and a tear came to my eye. I know how close he and Aggie were.Eddie was a good neighbor and always a friend indeed.The neighborhood will be like Aggie, looking for you to come home. We'll miss Eddie and always remember him.

I knew Eddie from living across from him on Kenhurst for years. I really admired his love for animals, and carefree personality. I'll miss seeing him riding his cycle down Nancy on the way to his moms. RIP friend,Wayne Higdon

Eddie was one neat dude, I lived across the street from on Kenhurst Drive. What made him so neat was his variety of different animals and his live life on the edge personality. Oh eddie the times we had over many years you have always held a special place in my heart.  i will miss you just showing up out of the blue and the silly things you said.  like when you come riding up on your mule screaming  i love you brnda higdon or when you was cutting the tree down next door and cut a heart out of a peice of wood  with e h loves b h  i will miss you so much rest in peace see ya in heaven love brenda

Eddie the tree man we cut some huge trees together and you showed me how to climb trees we went coon hunting together and had alot of other good times i will always remember the things i learned from u and the times we had rest in peace cousin

I agree with Crystal,  the best neighbor a girl could have.  I have known you since I was a teenager and you have always looked out for me and my mom.  I will miss being able to hear your Bluegrass an Country music playing loudly so all could hear.  I will miss you so much I already do!  I look out my back door now and have a emptiness in my heart!
