Ean Lee Jackson (49) of Louisville passed away at home Friday, August 30, 2019. Ean worked for United Parcel Service (UPS) for over 20 years as an airplane mechanic. He attended Somerset Community College where he became a certified airplane mechanic. He attended North Bullitt High School where he was a member of the JROTC program and color guard team. He enjoyed NASCAR races, loved video games and computer games, and sci fi, especially Star Wars. He loved reading about and watching movies about World War II, but most of all he loved his dog Maggie. To him, Maggie was like his child; he doted on her. Ean was intelligent, funny, and kind. He had a heart of gold and wanted to help everyone even if they were unkind to him.
Ean was preceded in death by his father, Gwen Jackson, and his grandparents Mitchell and Velma Jackson and Chester and Rachel Allgood. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Lois Allgood Jackson; Uncle, Gary Allgood; Aunt, Sharon Allgood Kirby (George); and three cousins, Karen Allgood Schaefer, Amy Allgood Rogers (Terry), and Kevin Kirby.
A funeral service for Ean will on Friday September 6, 2019 at 11:00AM at Advantage Funeral Home with entombment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00PM to 8:00PM Thursday at the funeral home.
