Harold was born on March 23, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky to Harold Byers, Sr., D.C. and Esther May Haynes Byers. He received his Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1981 and practiced Chiropractic for many years, running a successful practice of his own, helping many patients. On December 11, 2010 Harold married the true love of his life, Sherri Byers and together they raised two sons, Elijah and Elias.
Harold was a founding member of Taylorsville Church of Christ and was a published author. He had a strong devotion to his faith, God, and church. His many passions included leading people to God and introducing them to his church family. He was known for his kind spirit, compassionate soul, and big generous heart. He loved watching Kentucky Wildcats Basketball with his loving sons by his side.
Here to carry on his memory is his wife, Sherri Byers, children; Elijah Byers, and Elias Byers, Brittany Mae Farnack (Seth), Austin Byers (Cami), grandson, Denver Byers and soon to be grand daughter, Frankie Mae Farnack, father, G. Harold Byers Sr., D.C., siblings; Sheilah Richeson of Gainesville, Fl, Terri Abston (Gary) of Shepherdsville, KY, Teena Darnell (Robert) of Louisville, KY, and J. Grant Byers (Cyndi) of Louisville, KY, along with extended family and friends.
Visitation will be at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218 on Friday, July 30, 2021 from 2-7PM and Saturday, July 31 from 9-10AM. A celebration of Dr. Byers life will follow Saturday’s visitation.
Harold will be laid to rest in Embry Cemetery, Morgantown, KY.
And now these three remain; faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.
