I was fortunate to meet Dorothy and Ellen when I was in Junior High.  They would come to my Mother's restaurant (Bonnie's Restaurant) in Henryville.  My cousin, Vicki, Mom, and other employees looked forward to seeing them every Sunday afternoon.  We continued our friendship over the years,continuing to meet for dinner 2 to 3 times a year up until last summer.  She even joined our family on Thanksgiving a few times.  Dorothy attended our weddings and watched our children grow over the years.  She was a wonderful friend and will be greatly missed.

I taught Dorothy organ lessons after she retired from teaching school. She worked really hard to learn how to play. May she rest in peace.

Aunt Dorothy is a light in my life that will never go out.  Her kindness and loving ways will always be remembered.  I know she is with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, as she always held steadfast to her faith.  When God's Angels sing I know Aunt Dorothy's voice will be among them.
