Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Flossie Hinton; her husband Robert Casamer Sr.; her second husband Tony Ciresi; a daughter, Linda Richardson; a sister, Laverne Carlisle; and 2 brothers, Jesse Hinton and Donnie Hinton.
Dorothy was an avid bowler, golfer, she loved scratch offs, genealogy research, yard sales and Christmas shopping- she was already done for this year. She was caring, fun loving and very giving. You would always leave with a "bag" of stuff she had bought, earning her the nickname "The Bag Lady".
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Robert Casamer (Gail); daughter, Patricia Smith (Bruce); 5 grandchildren, Dawn, Michael, Brian, Lisa and Aubrey; 6 great grandchildren, Kimber, Savannah, Ashton, Kaydence, Hadley and Abigail.
A visitation for Dorothy will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3601 Taylor Blvd, Louisville, KY. Funeral services will occur Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with burial at Mount Holly Cemetery.
