She was retired from the old St. Joseph Hospital and was a member of Beargrass Christian Church. Jean was a dedicated member of the Republican Party and was preceded in death by her son in law, Chris Smith.
Survivors include her children, David Kittle (Ellen), Michael Diersen (Nikki) and Carol Smith; grandchildren, Whitney (Michael), TJ, Paige (Nick), Zak, Nancy (James), David (Diana), Samantha and Tiffany; great-grandchildren, Connor and Jesse.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00am on Saturday in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village. Burial will follow at Worthington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Friday. Memorial gifts may be made to Beargrass Christian Church.
