Dorothy Laverne Carroll, born March 26, 1925, passed away on October 9, 2018 at Donalson Care Center in Lincoln County, Fayetteville, TN. She is preceded in death by her parents: Percy Hagan and Ethel McCubbins; her husband: Ernest Carroll; her sister: Juanita Bishop; and her brothers: Dr. Percy Hagan Jr and James Hagan. She had one son Kenneth L. (Joann) Benson and two grandchildren Rodney S. (Janet) Benson and Vanessa (Philip) Osmsby. She had two great-grandchildren, Colin S. Benson and Camilla M. Benson. She had several part-time jobs but spent most of her life as a housewife and mother. She was a member of a Baptist Church in the Highlands in Louisville, Kentucky. A funeral service will be help 2 PM Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Arch L Heady at Resthaven 4400 Bardstown Rd Louisville, KY 40218. Visitation will be Saturday from 12-2 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.
