Dorothy L. Busam, 88, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016. She was born August 26, 1927 to the late Charles A. and Josephine Snawder Harp. She loved caring for her roses, and baking her fruit cakes and springerle cookies.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Richard, and 7 siblings.
She is survived by her God son, Joshua Leake, sister in laws Barbara J. Harp and Shirley Harp, her many nieces and nephews, cousin Catherine Sanders, best friend and caregiver Florence Harbin, and her companion pet “Baby Doll”.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Monday at the Baxter Avenue Baptist Church, 522 Baxter Ave. with interment to follow at Cave Hill. Visitation will be held 2-6 pm Sunday at Arch L. Heady-Cralle, 2428 Frankfort Ave. and after Noon on Monday at church.
