Dorothy Louise Buckley, 85, of Louisville passed away Saturday, September 12, 2015 surrounded by family and friends. She was born November 16, 1929 to the late Al and Irene Yadon Nuss. She was a 1947 graduate from Shawnee High School and worked for Farm Bureau Insurance in Louisville.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, John “Juney” Buckley, children; Ronnie (Nancy), Debbie Baldwin, John Edward and Stephen W. Buckley, two granddaughters; Jennifer (Chad) and Megan (Alex), two great -grandchildren; Cameron and Katelyn and a brother, Al Nuss.
A Celebration of Dorothy’s Life will be conducted Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 10am in Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road with interment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
Visitation will be from 1-8 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Kosair Children’s’ Hospital.
