She retired from General Electric in the mid 80’s as a line leader, working with computer programs. Dorothy was the life of the party and made people smile. She was happiest doing for others. Dorothy was always up for family gatherings, special events, and a good road trip!
Although, she had a rough year, her spirit remained strong. She fought valiantly to remain independent. However, our heavenly Father said, “Come home my faithful servant, you have done well.” Dorothy was a loving sister, aunt, and her favorite role in her later years was granny.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emery L. and Avie McClure Davisson, her four brothers, Floyd, Bob, Ray and Thurman.
Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Mildred, and many nieces, nephews and friends who loved her dearly.
The Funeral Service will be Friday, Sept. 27, 2019 at 2:00 PM, at Evergreen Funeral Home with visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
