Doris Jean Stacey

Doris Jean McIntosh Stacey, 79, of LaGrange, KY passed away Friday, August, 26, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born in Louisville, KY to the late Dewey and Dorothy McIntosh. Doris was retired from G.E, and a member of The Eastern Star Purity chapter 116, and VFW Ladies Auxiliary chapter 5710.

She is preceded in death by her daughter; Lenora Poynter, sisters; Shirley McCollum and Anna McIntosh and brothers; Gerald and Leon McIntosh.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter; Ramona L. Mattingly(Joseph), son; Roy T. Stacey, brother; Larry W. McIntosh(Monica), sisters; Dena Sierocki(Walter), Shaunia Eisenback(Ronald), D. Louise Knight(Kenneth), eleven grandchildren; Rocky Ethridge, Mandie Wathen, Jenny Shofner, Kristian Stacey, Tommy Stacey, Amber Stacey, Jessie Gilkey, Melissa Poynter, Hollie Napier, Andrea Brown, Gabrielle Devaney and twenty-three great grandchildren.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Doris will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 10am in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son FH. 8519 Preston Hwy. Louisville KY 40219 with burial to follow at Highview Cemetery in Chaplin KY. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8pm at the funeral home.
