Doris C. Moody

Doris was a licensed Cosmetologist, successful businesswoman, and salon owner for over 30 years, and a member of the General Grand Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

A charter member of the Hurstbourne Baptist Church, Doris’ faith carried her through her life.

She is reunited in heaven with her loving husband of 55 years, Chuck Moody, and with her parents, Ralph and Effie Cundiff, sister, Billie Lee, two children, Michael Brown and Sharon Leigh, and her son-in-law George Kezios. She is survived by her grandchildren, Tamara Aruj, Michael Joffe, and Daniel Kezios, a great granddaughter Bliss Aruj, stepdaughter Karen Bassett, loving nieces and nephews, wonderful neighbors, and many caring friends.

Services will be held to honor Doris’ life at noon on Tuesday, June 7th 2022 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven 4400 Bardstown Road, with private burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be that morning from 10am to 12pm at the funeral home.
