Donovan Ray Bentley

Left to cherish Donovan’s memory are his beloved wife of 19 years Jennifer, daughter Lucy, mother Susan, step-father Frank Henderson, sister-in-law Robin (John) Love, brother-in-law John Roper, nephews Joshua (Carly) Phelps and Nathaniel McCoun.

Donovan first attended the University of Louisville and then Indiana University where he received his Masters of Business Administration. He worked for Humana for over ten years and was currently the Director of Strategy Advancement. He absolutely loved the Hoosiers and anything IU, and also his beloved Cubs and Bengals. His affinity for cooking always led to many delicious meals at home which will be dearly missed by his family. Donovan was an incredible musician who could play anything but really shined when a guitar was in his hands. Donovan was a loving husband, son, and most importantly an adoring father to the love of his life Lucy.

A funeral service will be held 12pm Friday July 22, 2022 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son Westport Village 7410 Westport Rd. Louisville, KY 40222. Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Thursday July 21, 2022 and 10am-12pm on Friday.
