Donna Jo Newcomb, age 81, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. She was born on October 5, 1942 to Ralph and Verna Newcomb. She loved camping and was a member of the Rolling Wigwam Camping Club. Donna was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, the choir of Fern Creek Methodist Church, and enjoyed all arts and crafts.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Woody Hotman; and nephew, Kyle Stacy.
Left to cherish Donna's memory are her sisters, Judy Hotman, Phyllis McCurdy (Tom); nieces and nephews, Angela Baker (Tommy), Stephanie Burnett (Beau), Chad Stacy, Phil Stacy (Stacy); 14 great nieces and nephews; 9 great-great nieces and nephews; and best friend, Carol Hoag.
Visitation will be Monday, June 17, 2024 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home-Okolona, 8519 Preston Highway, 40219. The funeral service will be Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 10:00am at the funeral home with burial immediately following at Pennsylvania Run Cemetery, 8405 Pennsylvania Run Rd, 40228.
Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers,should be directed to The Hildegard House.
