Donna Sue Gibson

Donna Sue Gibson, 66, of Louisville passed away October 31, 2011 at her home. She was born on November 17, 1944 to the late Walter Raymond Rose and Charity Jean Aldridge. She was a member of Holy Name Church and was retired from the Kroger Floral Department.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Donna Denise Gibson.

She is survived by her husband, Dallas Gibson Sr.,; two children, Dallas Gibson Jr. and Angela Sue Welsh (Todd); grandchildren, Brooke, James, Aaron, Stephen and Alexander; three great-grandchildren; and sisters, Paula Ray Smith (Norman), Pamela K. Potter (Gary), Lynne Gibson and Cathy Newell.

A celebration of her life will be conducted Thursday November 3, 2011 at 2 pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 2-8 on Wednesday at the funeral home.
