Doanie “Betty” Schroeder, 83, passed away Monday, May 11, 2015.
She was a retired floor supervisor for the old Hazelwood Hospital, a member of Southwest Assembly of God, and a member of the area LIFT group.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband Donald J. Schroeder; and sons Steven Schroeder and R.L. Lyles.
Survivors include her sons Wayne and Melvin Schroeder; a sister Edith May; brothers, Arthur and Dean Hall; 5 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 Friday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy, followed by burial at Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society.
