Cornell, Diane, 68, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, May 25. She was retired from Jewish Hospital where she had worked 33 years as a financial counselor, she loved playing bingo, boating, and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Della and Ernest Cornell, and siblings George, James, Charles, Michael Sr., Jeanette, Zella, Kathryn and Virginia.
She is survived by her sister Millie Williams and brother Dennis Sr. (Sunny), sister-in-law Sandy, her loving companion of 29 years Stella Dye, and her beloved dog, Rough. Along with numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
A service to celebrate Diane's life will be held at 10 am Saturday in the chapel of Arch L. Heady-Cralle, 2428 Frankfort Ave. with interment at St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-8 pm Friday.
