Deena Marie Reed, age 75, of Louisville, Kentucky entered into rest peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Monday, December 19th.
She was a retired USPS Window Clerk.
Mrs. Reed was preceded in rest by her parents, William (Willie) and Blanche Threet; and two sisters, Darlene Browning and Duane Nuneman.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Reed; two sons, Scott Reed (Tammy) and David Reed (Marguerite); three grandchildren, Tyler Jones, Bailey VanMeter (Jay) and Dean Reed; a great-grandson, Walker VanMeter; two brothers, Dennis Holmes (Yvonne) and Kenneth Holmes; and a sister, Mary Ann Owens.
Her funeral will be at 12 noon on Wednesday, December 28th, at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with entombment following in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 3pm until 8pm.
