She was born May 10, 1952 in Louisville, the daughter of the late Frank M. and Charlotte (Dawson) Lipe. She was also preceded in death by her sister Sondra Haynes.
Deborah had previously worked as a Secretary in the Legal and Insurance Industries. She loved scrapbooking, history, politics, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Rebecca Hite (Ryan) and Jaason Bowlus (Stephanie); her sister Gail Hobgood (Jay); grandchildren Michael Bowlus, Charlotte and Everett Hite; her great grandson Asher Jackson; two nieces; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Memorial Gathering will take place from 2-4 PM on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Middletown Christian Church, 500 N. Watterson Trail, Louisville, KY 40243.
