He was a retired manager for the old Continental Body Shop at 34th and Market and owned and operated Pros Auto Body Shop and Wizards Body shop. He was one of the best painters and body work men in the city of Louisville. He played bass and sang in the Past, Present and Future band, Rock 'n' Roll Revival band and several other bands in the area and he was an avid fisherman.
Preceded in death by his parents, William and Margaret Proctor; former wife, Patsy Bray; and brothers, Allen and Tommy.
He is survived by his 12 children, Jason, Scottie, Todd, Rondal, David Allen, David Wayne, Brenda Gail, Debbie Kay, Billy, Michelle, Matt and Brooke; loving companion, Pam Proctor; brothers, Danny and Jimmy; sisters, JoAnn "Tootsie," Barbara and Linda; 25 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of David's life will be held Monday at 8 p.m. at the O. D. White & Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
