He was a member of Louisville Street Rods and loved restoring old cars.
Mr. Metz is survived by his wife of 54 years, Millie Metz; a daughter, Kathy Renee Lezark (William); two sons, David Lee Metz, Jr. (Debbie) and Drs. Michael James Metz (Cyndi); eight grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
His service will be on Friday, February 19th, at 6pm at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with cremation to follow. Visitation will be from 1pm until 6pm.
