David Allen Greissel (63) of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on August 28, 2023. He was born on October 6, 1959 and was shortly adopted by John and Doris Greissel through Catholic Charities.
In his younger years he participated in Special Olympics and was always so proud of his ribbons.
For years he enjoyed attending worship services and other activities at Faith Assembly Church in Jeffersonville Indiana.
He also enjoyed bowling and going to dances with his friends at Metro Parks Adapted Leisure.
Every year he always looked forward to watching football and basketball and cheering on his beloved Detroit Lions and Kentucky Wildcats.
David is preceded in death by his loving parents.
He is survived by his sister Teresa Buley and niece Mary Jo Buley.
David is to be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park 4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, Kentucky 40218.
