Danny Timothy Pike, 59, of Louisville passed from this life on Saturday October 10, 2015. He was the assistant track superintendent at Churchill Downs, and an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his father, LeRoy Pike and step father, J. R. Haycraft. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, the former Debbie Deely; daughter, Kaitlin Pham (Alex); son, Cullen Pike (Tiffany); mother, Jean Haycraft; brothers, David Pike (Sharon), Brian Pike (Beverly), and Sam Haycraft; sister, Dawn Johnson (Darrell) and grandchildren, Emerson, D.J., and Easton. A mass of celebration for Danny will be held at 10 am Wednesday at Most Blessed Sacrament, 3509 Taylor Blvd. with cremation to follow. Visitation will be at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. from 2-8 pm on Tuesday. Memorial gifts may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, or The Horse Program at Churchill Downs.
