Danny Charles Burris, age 67, passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, October 30, 2022. Danny was born on September 7, 1955 to Eunice and Charles Burris. Raised in Louisville, he was an accomplished craftsman and devoted to his family. He is survived by his wife, Donna Burris; daughter, Jessica (Troy) Burris; son, Charlie (Tina) Burris; grandchildren, Myles Dudley, Isaac Dudley, Madalyn Burris, Caitlin Burris, Daniel Burris, Joycelyn Burris, Brittany (Stephen) Shorey, Ashley (Tyler) Pullen, Robert Dutton and Heather Dutton; his great-grandchildren; brothers, Donny (Lisa) Burris and Gary Burris; and sisters, Gail Basham and Patty (Mike) Crume. He was preceded in death by his parents and his older brother, Richard “Ricky” Burris.
A memorial service will be held beginning 9 a.m., Friday, November 4 at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway. A committal will follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will occur at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, November 3.
