My heart is breaking even more.... Now your daughter, Sara, has followed you home.  I can't imagine her light not shining bright here on earth.  I will always remember sharing joy and pain with her... it was truly an honor knowing her!!  I pray for your family as they've lost the two of you... Dan will be missed by myself and son, Zachary. I was so sorry to hear of his passing. We were together briefly as the 2nd, but he will always be in my heart as one of the kindest old souls ever. 

Danny was a wonderfully talented childhood friend. I can still hear him singing the solo from "Night Before Christmas" when we were in 9th grade.

I'm sorry we never reconnected in our later years. RIP, Danny.

I went to high school with Dan,  or Danny as we called him back then. I sang in the choir with him and performed in several plays with him as well. I was so sad when I heard of his passing. He was a wonderful person and even though we lost touch,  I will miss him. My prayers go out to his wife and family.  Miss you Danny!

Dan was an angel... He has helped me out many times with open heart. This person was a rare one. May you Rest in Peace my friend... Love and prayers to you an the family.

I am shocked and so saddened to hear the news of Dan's passing. I first met Dan in the early 80's playing softball together. We quickly became friends. I remember holding Sara at some of our games. We started a business together. We didn't find much success with that but we became pretty good tennis players (guess we spent too much time on the tennis courts). Later when I was going through a tough period and loss of job he was quick to get me a job working with him. We shared an apartment and had many good times and unfortunately some tragedies. We laughed, we fought and created some great memories. I met my wife through Dan some 23 years ago. We drifted apart, both finding career successes that took us to other parts of the country. I know how much Dan was loved by his family. My family will keep him and all of his family in our prayers.

I took a Fall Protection Competent Person training with Dan on January 25th, here in Dallas. I've been on the safety side of electrical industry for several years. I've taken several courses over the years. Dan's training was by far the best I have ever received. It was a total shock to hear of his passing. May God bless him and his family. RIP Dan.

Daniel was my youngest brother and the second youngest of 7 children with Father Bob (Age 91) and Mother Judy (deceased). Dan was able to display extraordinary talents at every step of his life: he was a precociously good baseball player from a very early age, a talented singer whose voice graced the weddings of multiple family and friends, a lifelong athlete, an accomplished trainer who brought innovation, energy, and effectiveness to all with whom he worked, and the father of two daughters (Laci - deceased age 7) and Sara. He was commonly understood to be the "favorite uncle" of most of our children because he was funny, engaging, and brought a child-like pleasure to interactions with his nieces and nephews. His life was a vibrant mix of successes and struggles but at all times he strived for excellence and his accomplishments demonstrate his success. I will miss Daniel and feel a large hole in my heart that he quietly occupied. I want to express my personal condolence to Lesha and his Kentucky based family of recent years along with all of the many co-workers who filled his life these many years. Thank you all for welcoming my brother into your lives!

Daniel was my very first best friend as we were only a year apart  and the youngest of seven children.  I have the best memories of him as we grew up.

I only met Dan once, during my product training back in winter 2016. Of course, Dan had the fantastic knowledge and competencies required for this product training. But what I remember most are Dan's extra-ordinary human qualities, presence and sense of humour that made the difference. I can't believe he's gone. Our world is now missing a great person. I send all my condolences and prayers to his family and friends.

To Lesha -- In my brief year at WernerCo I probably saw Dan a half a dozen times there in Louisville.  What a class act.  His Fall Protection knowledge was among the very highest and best in the industry and he had the most pleasant disposition. I will always recall thoughts of him fondly. In the short time that I have known Dan while at Werner Co., I was overtaken by his positive spirit and his extensive knowledge and experience in his profession.  I really looked forward to the opportunity for he and I to work side by side but the opportunity never arose. We have lost someone special.  Heartfelt sympathy to Dan's entire family, he will be sorely missed.

In the short time that I've known Dan, he was always such a kind hearted person.  Always full of life.  Always sharing a funny story to help bring a smile to everyone he encountered. He will be missed dearly.

I feel blessed for having been in Dan's presence, to have learned from him and witness his passion for life. I pray that God watches over Dan's loved ones and gives them comfort in their time of need.

Dan, it was truly an honor to have known and worked with you.  You were a fantastic teacher.  Your enthusiasm and swagger were infectious.  You will be deeply missed by all.  Our prayers are with Lesha and you family.  God Bless you.
