Dan is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Delores Marklein.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Kay Marklein, their children, Jeff Marklein (Jennifer) and Sarah Rose (Gordon). Dan is also survived by his siblings, Gerry Marklein (Sara), Charlotte Zurn (Wayne Morgan) and Dwayne Marklein (Suzanne). Grandchildren, Claire Marklein, Charlie Marklein and Lydia Rose.
A visitation at 10:30 AM and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, May 18th, 2023 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 6500 Saint Bernadette Ave, Prospect, KY.
A luncheon will be served after Mass.
