Curtis was an Army veteran of the Korean War and retired from General Electric.
He was a union member of Local #761.
Curtis is preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Elvira Campbell; and grandson, Josh Payne.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Campbell; children, Bob Payne (Tonya), Patricia Combs (Dale), and Wilma Hultman (Greg); 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Joe Campbell (Cheryl), Burton Campbell, Opal Napier (Fon), and Margie Campbell.
A funeral service to honor the life of Curtis will be held 2pm Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Evergreen Funeral Home, with entombment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2-8pm Wednesday and 10am-2pm Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be directed to WHAS Crusade for Children or Humane Society.
