As we come up Cody’s birthday which is the 30 we’re still heartbroken but yet.thankful for all the joy and happiness he brought everyone love Chuck and Delores 

I was lucky enough to have Cody as a friend at Evangel. He was always so kind and it left such a positive impact on my time there. He was just a great human being. 

We didn’t stay in touch as adults,  but I’ve often thought of him throughout the years. I appreciated his friendship so much.  

My condolences to family and friends during this time. 

Dear Kay and Bill, 
I know words are feeble at a time like this but like you said Kay, we never know what tomorrow holds.  So, I want you to know that I love you both so much and that you have been such a great help to me in my life. Forest View helped me build my confidence as a Christian and your whole family played a big part in that. I remember great blessings at Forest View when Cody would lead the services and me and Alex will miss talking to him. I am so thankful to know that we will meet up again on heavens bright shore. How precious is that promise.

Cody you were a dear friend to me.  I'll cherish all the crazy adventures you joined in on.  I'd have to say, one of my favorites was this night, when we all decided it would be a good idea to go bouldering in the dark.  We had so many good times.  I will never forget you.

Cody, you always were up for any "shenanigans".  Thank you for spending time with us and joining in our annual Halloween cousin party.  You will be greatly missed.

This is Kay, Cody's mom and this is not a condolences this is simply something I would like to share. Cody and I talked almost every day we shared so much but still it seemed like there is so much I wish I had told him. I told him how wonderful he was, how special he was and how much I loved him but I wish I had told him those things more often I don't believe you can  tell someone how much they mean to you to often. We always think there is tomorrow to reach out and tell someone how much they mean to us, this has proven to me we don't always have tomorrow.   Cody was a very special person, he was a wonderful son who loved his parents, his church and his friends. 

Cody and I learned to climb together. Something just felt better knowing that he was holding the other end of the rope. 

Cody was a Star Student of Mine At Evangel so many years ago. He was the kid that could do anything. Even as a High School Student he was running network cable, mounting TV's etc,  and finding ways to rise up to my challenge which was, "Break into any computer in the school with these rules: Don't mess anything up, tell me which computer you broke into,  and how you did it."  

Although I lost touch with him after he graduated High School, I've often told the story of how he and his cohorts broke into a teacher's computer (while the teacher was lecturing and using it!)....following all of my rules of course.  

As a young man, he was always kind, courteous, and fun-loving. I know he is now with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and we all get to see him again one day.

Mother's Day May 9, 2022, Mom, Dad and Cody a very happy day!!
He made all of our days special. He was a wonderful son.

Cody was a member of Highland Park Lodge #865

Cody took me under his wing and taught me quite a lot. One of the hardest workers I've ever known. Some of the best memories were made running Network cable late into the night and laughing the whole time.
