He was a Loving dad, son, husband and the best big brother who enjoyed Skateboarding, hunting, fishing, gaming, and watching his favorite shows.
Cody was met at the gates of Heaven by his father, Scotty Ray Scott; grandparents, Marvin Lee Scott, Mary Alice Hodge, and Douglas Edward Hodge He was also met by his Cousin and best friend; Brandon Skaggs.
He leaves his mother, Linda Pearl Scott; wife Hayley Stivers Scott; children, Octavia Pearl Scott and Willow Rhaye Scott.
Cody also leaves his grandmother Rebecca Jean Scott; best little brother, Tyler Scott; step-father, Brian Brooks; and many friends and family.
A funeral service for Cody will be held on Thursday at 12:00pm at Advantage Funeral Home (10907 Dixie Highway) with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. A visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home.
