Clyde was born on August 11, 1944 in Randolph, NY to the late Donald and Virginia Willits. Clyde served our country while enlisted in the U.S. Army; while enlisted he traveled to Germany and Okinawa. He was a hard worker throughout his life, loved animals and tattoos, as well as working in his yard, fishing and traveling. He experienced a lot in his life and was an accomplished man, but he will always be remembered for his love and devotion to his sweetheart, Judith and his son, William, as well as to the rest of his family.
Here to carry on his memory are his son, William Willits (Jean); grandchildren, Kameron and Dawn; great grandchildren, Toby and Samara; his sisters, Mary Gardner (Jerome) and Linda Carlton (Wayne); and all his friends at Producer Feeds / Excel Equine Horse Feeds. Along with Judith, his sister, Nancy Waters have preceded him in death.
Visitation will take place from 12-2pm on Friday, February 15th at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A memorial service celebrating Clyde’s life will be held at 2pm on Friday.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
