Cliff was born in Louisville, on June 15, 1922 to the late Clifford Dennis and Annie Belle Halleron. He served our country in the U.S. Army and retired from Phillip Morris. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by 9 siblings, his wife of 64 years, Martha Halleron, and his daughter Susan.
Here to carry on his memory are his daughters, Louise, Barbara (Brian), Sue (Carl), sons, Dennis (Pam), CJ (Karla), grandchildren, April (Tony), Abigail, Elizabeth (John), Travis, Valerie (Mike). Kelly (Jim), and 10 great grandchildren, all dearly loved. There is also his friend and hunting buddy, Stephen, and many other friends and family that meant the world to him.
A visitation will take place from 10am-8pm Wednesday, March 7th at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A service honoring Cliff’s life will be held at 10am Thursday, March 8th at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. C. Furman, and everyone at the U of L Gerontology office, Dr. Lally, Kristie, Geri, Tiffany and everyone who helped us at Hosparus of Louisville. Also to all of Cliff’s Bluegrass friends, who have shared his fun times all these years, Stephen, who helped him continue hunting and enjoying the great outdoors these last 5 years, all the friendly and helpful neighbors on Colebrooke lane, and all family who have visited and helped care for Cliff, these last days.
