Clarissa Sue Ferguson

Sue was born in Louisville, Kentucky on April 4, 1949 to the lates’ Clarence W. & Margaret F. McDonald – Demaree. Of the Baptist faith, Sue was a member of the Cloverleaf Baptist Church. She had a fond interest in ceramics and pottery and also loved to go shopping.

Sue is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence W. & Margaret McDonald – Demaree; and one sister, Mary Rogers & husband, Paul.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Chester Ferguson; children, Michael (Dana) Ferguson and Cathie (Greg) Jarboe; grandchildren, Chelsea Ferguson, Lindsay (Jason) Moffitt and Emily Ferguson; great-granddaughter, Daisy Grace Moffitt and one on the way; siblings, Clarence (Arlene) Demaree, Jr., Betty Siroki and Margaret Hume; sister – in – law, Joyce Ferguson, niece, Tara (Clayton) Osuamkpe; nephews, Michael Shuck and Kenneth Ferguson, Jr plus many other nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 in the Evergreen Dignity Chapel of the Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m. also at the Evergreen Funeral Home.

Memorial donations may be made in Sue’s honor to the Cloverleaf Baptist Church.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery & Mausoleums
