Clarence Ray Noel departed this life on Tuesday December 15th at 4:30pm at Friendship Nursing Home. Ray was born in Cadiz, KY on March 22, 1936. He played football at Christian County High School, and after graduating, joined the United States Air Force in 1954. He was stationed at Barksdale, LA and flew in B52 airplanes in the Vietnam War. After serving 20 years in the military, Ray retired and went on to college at LSU Baton Rouge and graduated in IT. He came to work in Louisville, KY at PNC where he met his wife, Betsy.
Ray loved walks in the park, living in the country and memories of his childhood, sweets, the military, tv, his guitar, and most of all his family.
He is preceded in death by his Mother (Ora) and Father (Doc), his son (Christopher), and two brothers (Gene, Ken).
He is survived by his wife (Betsy), son (Eddie), daughter (Fran), and two step-daughters and their spouses (Renae and Larry Hart, Melissa and Damon Crouch), brother and spouse (Don and Peggy) and sister (Glenda). He also leaves behind nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
