Claire L. Watson, 96, of Louisville, died Monday, May 21, 2012 at Jewish Hospital.
She was born May 8, 1916 in Pittsburgh, PA. She married Clarence Watson on September 25, 1943 and he preceded her in death on October 10, 1990.
Claire retired from the Corps of Engineers Quartermaster Depot.
She is survived by her children Joseph (Theresa) Watson of Milton, WV; John (fiance Sharon Spurling) of Louisville; and Virginia (Alfred) Raterman of Breese, IL; also eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service will be held today at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Arch L. Heady-Russman and Sons Funeral Home located at 1201 E. Oak Street. Visitation will be held today from 11:00 AM until service time at 2:00 PM. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
